I don't operate sprint - probably haven't done one since I was on the Left coast in the 1990s.  But I'd venture to say that the operators who do well in the sprint have NO problem stretching 4 hours of operator skill into 24 hours of contesting.  The #2 team in last year's WRTC includes two indivuals who consistent place in the top 5 or top 10 of the Sprints.  They've demonstrated their abilities quite aptly....
