Scott,
I know you "get off" on trash talking and gratuitously insulting others,
You constantly do it on this reflector. I realize that you just can't help
yourself. But I won't stoop to your level. So if you want to attack
me personally, then have the decency to do it in a PRIVATE email.
With respect to this reflector, I don't see how a continuing thread
on Sprint operation or not has any place on it, therefore this will
be my last response on the matter.
I hardly think K1KI's station qualifies as minimal do you?
Maybe you should ask Tom if he thinks that all his stacks
are a "minimal" station.
For the record, how many other times was the Sprint won from Connecticut?
I think as many as CQWWCW was won from W6 in the last
30 years. (Once)
Not that it matters anyway. I don't operate contests to win. I operate
DX or Mixed contests because I have fun operating in them with an operating
time period of at least 24 hours. Anything less than that I usually won't
even bother with, let alone the time and effort needed to fix the antennas
and station. You might believe that I am knocking the sprint. I am not. I
simply don't have any interest in getting on for it. I don't get on for
NAQP or Field Day either.
My point was that I feel strongly that Sprint should not be weighted
anywhere near as highly as ARRLDX, IARU or WPX. You already
know why. If you have anything else to say to me, then spare everyone
else on the reflector and do it privately.
