Scott...
Nobody tries to put Sprint down... it's a nice contest, I personally
participate whenever I can,
But what we need IMHO is to adjust points properly.
Bob KQ2M is right - it's definitely not a Contest for East Coast. At 8 P.M.
when contest starts we are lucky to make a couple of dozens Q's on 20...
Just checked last (Feb'07) top ten for CW Sprint. Only K1TO from FL, the
rest is W5/W6/W7...

Please answer few simple questions:

1) Why does Sprint give you more points than WPX, ARRL DX, IARU and WAE? I
mean, maybe it's right, just interesting to know the explanation from
somebody...
2) If it's the best representation of operating skills and so on, why not
include a EU Sprint in the selection process for Europeans? EU Sprint is
also 4 hours long and has same rules.
3) Why not include NAQP in the selection process? It's a bit longer (10hrs.)
than Sprint but with more participation...
4) Why some of operators who considered "the best" never participate in it?

I think it would be of interest to anyone, before we continue to beat the
dead horse with this Sprint.
Again, leave it for those who want it, but reduce points.
Sprint is more valuable than ARRL DX? C'mon guys, try to tell it to W3LPL,
KC1XX, K3ZO, W2GD or K3LR...

Thanks.
