Hi Scott
I exactly know what you are talking about.
I have my personal example with putting up a lot of efforts for the
Cyprus M/S contest station. The reason of doing this is not just WRTC.
We are having fun there winning (or not winning) DX contests, relaxing
from Moscow megapolis rush etc, but it doesn't mean we should create
rules for those like me.
We, the DX QTH guys, have big scores due to a good DX locations but
why should the others get out of this process ? So, the rules we have
are supporting and respecting those from HOME AREA !!
As I was saying earlier we would love to see all of you guys among
competitors. And at the same time I am 100 per cent sure that we would
not be able to make everyone happy with the rules.
There are few mistekes we did like the one with Sprint, which we
clarify shortly but please accept the rules as they are !!!
