Dear Atilano, 

 

My mother passed 20 years ago at my present age 62.  Brain attack was
followed by 2 days in coma.

My aunt spent 6 month fighting lung cancer after smoking for almost all of
her 84 years.

We took care of her in hospital and I can well understand your prolonged
drama.

 

Please receive my deepest condolences.

Dear Brothers:

 

Our family is very sad. We lost PY5EM- Jandyra ( my mother) last Friday
August 31st.

She broke her leg (femur) 80 days ago and she was recovering quite well, but
three weeks ago an unexpected cancer metastasis has been identified and
suddenly we all felt lost. 

When my father passed away ( I was 16 years old and the youngster Manuel
only 2 years of age) Mom became father and mother at the same time . God
gave us the gift to have her taking care of us with tremendous love and
dedication for all these 48 years.

On her leg recovering God gave us another enormous gift to have the chance
to take care of  our dear PY5EM.

The last 3 weeks the priority of our lives  has been total dedication and
our best attention and love to this strong woman who devoted her life to
their kids.

We would like to express our best thanks to the Ham Radio Community for the
care and love offered to my mother during her illness.
